It is a fact of life that unfortunately things sometimes go wrong.
On a number of occasions, Ian has been called-upon to Troubleshoot and “fix” failing projects in a pivotal Crisis Management role.
In particular Ian is noted for a pragmatic but business-like approach; focussed on achieving the required outcomes whilst managing and maintaining positive relationships between all the stakeholders during often financially and personally difficult times.
Having a good track record for fixing & closing projects of all sizes, achieving swift resolution and satisfaction of all parties, Ian is respected for building & enhancing customer relationships during periods of project-adversity.
When our audiovisual program got in very heavy weather, Ian was (literally) flown in. He managed to get all involved (that is: we as customers and ‘them’ as contractors) in a cooperative attitude. Ian proposed very pragmatic solutions for solving our IT and audiovisual / broadcast problems, while keeping a very strict focus on the goals to be delivered.
I owe Ian one for getting this last part of the program to a good ending.
